About a year ago my sister bought me a gold fish to keep "Kitty" (the fish) company. Literally, this fish was gold when she bought it, but since then has progressively turned white.
Any way, this fish has endured numerous sucker fishes, two crabs, and the move to our new place. But, I don't think he is long for this world. He has been acting funny lately; just kinda lounging at the bottom of the tank. I felt better when he quickly moved to the top at feeding time, and did his share of eating, but I'm not so positive now. I mean, fish aren't supposed to swim on their sides, right? It's like he is fighting to hang on to what's left of his exciting life in our aquarium. And, it's just too sad to watch.
